It is with a heavy heart that animixplay, an anime streaming site, has announced its permanent shutdown.
AnimixPlay Shuts Down Permanently:
AnimixPlay: the site, which had been a go-to destination for fans of anime for many years, had a vast selection of shows and movies from popular franchises such as Attack on Titan, My Hero Academia, and Naruto.
However, it has been reported that the site’s developers lost motivation to continue maintaining and updating the site, along with the major factor of unsuccessful bug fixes, leading to its eventual closure.
This news will come as a disappointment to the many dedicated users of animixplay, and the developers express their sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
Despite their best efforts, they were ultimately unable to find a solution to keep the site running.
The animixplay team has thanked all of their users for their support and loyalty over the years. They have greatly enjoyed serving the anime community and will always look back on their time with animixplay with fond memories.

WHY SHUT DOWN THE SITE?
We’re glad that you gave us support and site was able to be such popular among users.
But it’s our hesitation to announce that, animixplay no longer will be available in any form. Scraping another website requires constant maintenance, any structural changes or protection measures on another site can break our system.
Every time we make a workaround to fix, it adds additional mess. Now the scrapper is already so messy that this problem might need a total rework to fix it. We are not motivated to do this.
Our service quality is already keeps getting worse that we feel it would be better if the site just shut down and people went somewhere better. Letting the site half-working using existing iframe streams is just not acceptable.
We are just scraping other websites anyway. There are a lot of other apps and websites that do the same.
Besides, you can still just go directly to the original sites where we get all of the contents, be it wiki sites where info is maintained, legal services where anime is originally licensed, or another pirate sites where we get their streams (all sites in credits).

As we bid farewell to animixplay, it is difficult to find the words to express the sadness that we feel.
The site has been a beloved part of the anime community for so long, and it will be greatly missed.
